From 15th JANUARY 2012 our Morning Service will be starting at 10am.
Following the Morning Service, refreshments will be available in four different locations on ‘stream’ Sundays – the Hub, the Church, the Conference Room and the Dixon Lounge.
At 11.40am there will be an opportunity in each of these locations for those who wish to further consider matters relating to the Christian faith and message.
For example:
In the Church, the stream will enable us to dig even deeper into the Bible. In-house and visiting speakers and DVDs will cover topics such as Bible books and characters, doctrine and theology.
In the Hub, the stream will provide newcomers with an introduction to who we are and what we do as a church. There will be the opportunity to meet church leaders, as well as find out about baptism, membership and ministries at LBC.
In the Dixon Lounge, the stream will help us to apply the Bible to situations we face in life. The range of possible topics is almost endless, including parenting, marriage, witness, pastoral issues, and more!
In the Conference Room, the stream will provide an opportunity to reflect on the sermon, apply it to our lives and also to pray.
During these times there will be provision for CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE in the Church Hall and Youth Hall respectively.
These streams will all finish promptly at 12.30 pm. Part of the Church Hall will also be made available for babies/toddlers accompanied by a parent.
On Communion Sundays (normally the first Sunday of the month) the streams will not be running.
This will also be the case when it is School Holidays. Please see the calendar below for actual dates and topics.
We recognise that the earlier start time may prove difficult for those who rely on Public Transport. If you are unable to arrange a lift to church please contact either Bryan and Gill Mills (01202 885754) or the Church Office (01202 297977).
